Complete Asbestos Surveys were contacted by the golf club that required an up to date asbestos management survey carrying out.
This survey involved the clubhouse, changing rooms, kitchen areas, lounge areas, offices and the pro shop. Outbuildings for the green keepers were all also covered.
The course itself was designed in 1921 by Dr. Alister MacKenzie who is famed for the design of some of the world’s most renowned golf courses.
The survey identified a small area where asbestos insulation debris was located; this room has now been put out of bounds by the club until remedial works are carried out.
Our staff enjoyed this survey and even got a lift around the course in a golf buggy!
