Complete Asbestos Surveys carried out an asbestos management survey on this local Baptist church.
This stone built church was first built in the late 1800s and has some beautiful original features.
The Baptist is a well-used building with a nursery using it daily, brass band practicing on evenings and many more local clubs taking advantage of the large building.
Many samples were taken during the asbestos survey and only one or two positive for containing asbestos.
Samples included, sink pads, floor tiles, debris, woven ropes, bitumen and other products.
The church is now fully compliant and only has to label one room which is currently out of bounds.
